The greatest event of the award season, the Oscars, is officially opened this month.  Here’s some useful information you need to know to enjoy Academy Awards 2017 to the fullest and view it using MediaHint from anywhere in the world.

When are the Oscars 2017?

The 89th annual Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, 26th February.

What time are the Oscars 2017 and who is hosting the event?

The event will be televised in the United States by ABC,  the red carpet action will start at 7pm New York and 4pm in Los Angeles.  The ceremony will be hosted for the first time by the comedian Jimmy Kimmel, it is expected to start  start at 8.30 pm in New York and 5.30 in Los Angeles.
